I approach camerawork and image-making as a practice: as an application of a system of thought and as a repetitive exercise. This practice creates space for my mind to settle and clear and even disappear for a while as I work my connection to the natural environment. My photographs are what remain of conversations and interactions with something felt - or hidden - in the landscape. For me, they are marks and gestures that point to a greater significance. They are the images of that which showed up in my practice.
