This entry level cyanotype workshop will provide a base knowledge and supplies needed to create cyanotypes from found objects, such as flowers and foliage. We will be learning how to prepare and coat paper, compose images, understand exposures and washing. Participants will leave with finished prints and the basic tools needed to create more cyanotypes on their own.

  • Limited to 10 students

  • All skill levels welcome

  • Participants are encouraged to bring found materials to use in their compositions, but the Bakery will also provide objects for your use.

  • We will be breaking for lunch. There is a restaurant and bakery nearby or bring a lunch.

  • At the end of the workshop, participants will leave with their completed compositions, a brush, a basic contact frame for exposing, and the knowledge to make their own images!
