The Bakery Photo Collective (BPiC)
is an all-volunteer, 501C-3 not-for-profit, self-service, digital-imaging and darkroom facility located in Portland, Maine. The collective consists of photographers working in fine art, documentary, and commercial photography who share a passion for the photographic arts. BPiC functions solely on the volunteer efforts of its members, from fundraising, and from its annual photography auction, Photo A Go-Go.
The collective is dedicated to sharing the photographic arts with our community. We aim to accomplish this through our workshops, youth programs, artist residency program, and our lecture series featuring locally and nationally recognized photographers.
We are committed to making BPiC a powerful resource and hub for photography in 2019. Our Spring and Summer schedules include introductory workshops in B&W darkroom and film processing, introductions to digital imaging and photoshop, as well as visiting artist talks yet to be announce. .
We welcome inquiries and look forward to answering any questions you may have regarding events, workshops, membership, and volunteer opportunities. Please feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org
